A cleanly constructed archival vintage piece from Givenchy Boutiques, the label that operated exclusively through Givenchy's Japanese franchise retail network from the late 1970s through the 1990s. Cut in black lambskin (羊革) with a cupra lining, the skirt has a high waist with a single button closure and concealed side zip, a structured pencil silhouette with prominent vertical seaming running from waist to hem, and a small center-front slit at the hem. The leather has taken on a natural surface patina consistent with age, there is no structural damage and the hide remains supple. One small faint dot mark on the front panel, see photo.
